6-speed manual gearbox: robust, reliable and durable.
The 6-speed manual gearbox on the Amarok is planned for high loads and has optimum gear ratios, short shift travel and smooth gear changing. 6th gear is designed as an economy gear (top speed in 5th gear; engine speed is lowered in 6th gear without reducing driving speed). This saves fuel and reduces CO 2 emissions.
